About Us

Attentive Care Partners LLC was founded in 2010 as a consulting firm focused on supporting care providers who need help navigating administrative and regulatory complexities of their entrepreneurial ventures. Attentive Care Partners assists health care entrepreneurs who are seeking to develop and grow care delivery operations.

In 2018, Attentive Care Partners expanded by developing Abri Care & Community Supports as an agency that provides community-based and residential support services for adults with disabilities.  Abri Care & Community Supports draws from vast professional experience leading operations for medically complex patients, home and community-based services, and residential care - skilled nursing, long-term rehabilitation, assisted living, senior housing, and group homes for adults with developmental disabilities.

Attentive Care Partners helps health care entrepreneurs enroll as participating providers for health insurance plans, and we provide support through the licensing, inspection, and accreditation processes.

Attentive Care Partners helps small businesses qualify for and bid on government contracts and subcontracts. We research and write business proposals (non-legal), and help initiate operations.

Attentive Care Partners provides interim coverage for Nursing Home Administrator, Assisted Living Administrator, and Senior Community Executive Director vacancies, including serving as administrator of record, providing transitional support, preparing and executing Plans of Correction, and change management.

Abri Care & Community Supports provides individual community-based supports, in-home supports, employment supports, transportation and supportive housing (group homes, supported apartments, community residences) for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Donyale Jones Showers RRT, NHA, PMP, FACHE is the Principal and Executive Director of Attentive Care Partners, LLC. Donyale has more than 20 years of experience caring for people. Her experience includes providing direct care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist working with people who required assistance breathing with ventilators and artificial airways (tracheostomies), leading respiratory departments for rehabilitation and community hospitals, leading home and community-based care services, and leading residential care for older adults and adults with disabilities. Donyale has more than 10 years of Board of Directors experience for an organization that provides community and residential care for adults with developmental disabilities.

 

Donyale is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, a highly-selective level of credentialing that is earned and maintained by a lifelong commitment to learning, professionalism, and high ethical standards. Donyale is also a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator, Certified Assisted Living Administrator, and Certified Project Management Professional. Donyale completed the Advanced Management Program at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania after earning an MBA and a MS in Management with a concentration in Health Care Administration from Wilmington University. and a BS in Biology from Davidson College.
